Job Description

To contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring and review of a business strategy that maximises the retail net profit by driving sales and operations and controlling costs

Works with the Business Head to drive company strategy, business priorities and targets
Drives Retail Sales and Business Operation strategic planning
Responsible for retail sales budgeting and forecasting in alignment with Business Head
Develop annual retail operating plan that drives retail productivity improvement, customer services excellences, equity and revenue growth from retail operations
Generates ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends
Uses open feedback mechanisms from the operations team with other departments to ensure the integration of the retail strategy
Takes decisions on matters relating to the day to day retail operation within their defined work area including the strategic planning of resources
Ensures all new shop proposals meet the required return on sales prior to submitting any recommendations to the Business Head; all new shop locations must be visited to ensure they will trade effectively and meet the proposed budgets
Lead senior operation team to set objectives, standards and monitor performance and deliverables against KPIs measurements including but not limited to : sales revenue, store productivity, mystery shopper results , category penetration, establish best practice and drive through weekly, monthly and annual measurement of all retail KPIs
Collaborate with other functional departments to implement sales, merchandising, marketing and people development strategies in relation to retail sales operations
Liaise effectively and consistently with Business Head in prevailing problems or opportunities
Takes a lead role in building a strong sales management culture with the operations team; spends time coaching Managers, identifying skills and opportunities for development; provides advice and guidance on issues when needed.

Works with the HR to ensure people management issues are satisfactorily resolved and relevant HR policies and procedures are adhered to chairs disciplinary, grievance, capability hearings.
Regularly produces and presents a range of financial/ non-financial reports for the Business Head as required
Thorough understanding to handle online business, derive strategies and marketing plans to grow business
