Lead end to end HR activities at Unit level-Manpower Planning, Performance Management system, Talent Management, Employee welfare, group level HR initiatives and an ensuring upkeep of unit level compliance & statutory norms.
Manage the plant administration and timely renewal of manpower contracts
Manager Unit level recruitment as per approved manpower budget
Work closely with SBU HR Head, and support the effective implementation of people agenda.
Support the implementation of Corporate HR initiatives like and recognition, employee policies, capability development etc.
Identify statutory requirement and government regulatories establish, implement personnel and IR related compliances
Act as response team member for crisis / continuity management, with accountabilities consistent with relevant response plans and as assigned by the response team leader.
Act as Contract Accountable Manager to ensure safe execution of the contracted work while applying the Working with Contractor process throughout for Administrative contracts including security guards, cleaning staff, gardeners, etc.
Develop and implement a strategy for negotiating long term wage agreements with Unions and assist in the execution of wage agreements from time to time. Ensure implementation of the LTS.
Facilitate development of worker training & development programs and continuous improvement programs for employee involvement, small group activities and other innovative HR practices.
To establish and maintain relations with government authorities to support the plant agenda (Labor Labor Dept., EPF & ESI Dept, Director of Factory, Pollution control board, Local Police & Admn)
Lead the Labour law compliance monitoring program for the plant and provide assurance on statutory compliance on all labour statutes.
Manage and monitor court/legal matters involving labour law and actively interface with Company advocates and legal counsel.
Coordinate with Corporate HR on various HRMIS pertaining into units/Plant-head counts, transfer, new joining, contractual workers, manpower cost analysis etc
